The first step is serving a legally valid Notice. Depending on the response, you may also need a schedule of condition or a Party Wall Award.

Is required if a dispute arises. The surveyor(s) will produce a legally binding Award.
If consent isn’t given, Surveyor(s) will help resolve matters through a Party Wall Award.

Pricing for Adjoining Owners
Under the Party Wall Act, the Building Owner typically covers the Adjoining Owner's costs meaning you will not pay anything. Our services are billed at a standard hourly rate, though we can also provide a fixed-cost quote upon request.
